Hey I am wondering if JAWS is accessible with I Tunes or not. I am not sure how to use it or how to download it, but I need to figure out a way to convert my music files that are not MP3 files to be able to be converted so they can be. If anyone can help me that would be gretly appreciated.
Thanks again, ,

Hello,
If you just want to convert non MP3s there are other free programs to do this. I am blanking out on what the name of the one program is that I use to use. But JAWS worked well with it and I liked it.

plenty of free mp3 converters out there, and itunes sucks so bad it swallows. Don't even bother. Remember if you convert your files though, you risk a chance on lower quality. If possible, rip to the format you want it converted to so you won't have a second generation copy. when you make a conversion, it's like making a copy of a copy. and when that happens, the quality goes down.
CDx will do what you want, and it'll even convert them to mp3 in the first place, so you'll be all good, or at least I think so...
Agree with the above comments. There are scripts for Itunes that you can download from tandtconsultancy.com, but they don't work with Itunes 5. If you didn't download the music with Itunes to begin with, then you don't need to use it to convert your files. You just need an AAC encoder to decode them and an MP3 encoder to encode them to MP3. Check www.free-codecs.com.
The scripts do work with iTunes 5, and 6. I have them, and am running iTunes 6, however, after using it, I can definitely say Winamp's easier, and you can set it to encode your files as mp3, or AAc. AAC's actually smaller, and sounds a little better, in my opinion.
